Real Madrid champions after Barca’s misstep

Real Madrid cleaned Cadiz 3-0.
After that, Barcelona needed to win against Girona to avoid handing the title to Real Madrid.
But they failed to do so.

The “meringues” made short work of Cadiz at home at the Bernabeu.

Brahim Diaz opened the scoring for the All Whites after the break when he was given plenty of time and space in the penalty area – and immediately took advantage.

He swung inwards and sent the lead into the far post to the cheers of the home crowd.

2-0 then came through Jude Bellingham, who had then only been on the pitch for a couple of minutes.

The Englishman broke a pass in the attacking half and started an attack which he himself eventually finished in a half-open goal.

The match finally ended 3-0 to Real Madrid, who after Barcelona’s misstep against Girona are Spanish champions.
