PSG continues with its hiring policy guided by advisor Luis Campos. The Parisian club has notably changed its goals and the hiring of Hugo Ekitike is proof of that.
The player will arrive at Parc des Princes on loan from Reims Stade, with one purchase option at the end of the 2022-23 season. Christophe Galtier will decide whether to stay at PSG or not.
At age 20, ekitike is already used to Ligue 1 as he played at Stade de Renis, the club where he arrived in 2013. In 2020, the 1.89-meter striker signed his first professional contract.
His professional debut was in October 2020, against FC Lorient. He played for six months with Danish club Vejle BK, starting in January 2021, to finish scoring three goals in eleven games.
Last season, Hugo Ekitike returned to the Stade de Reims and scored eleven goals in 27 games in all competitions, which was enough to catch the attention of the French champion.
