Former Nigerian footballer, Austin ‘Jay-Jay’ Okocha, has left out players like Lionel Messi, Neymar, and Vinicius Junior, saying he is one of the greatest dribblers in the history of football.
Okocha played for well-known European clubs such as Paris Saint-Germain, Fenerbahce, and Eintracht Frankfurt during his career.
He was famous for his skill to dribble past opponents with ease and flair.
Since Okocha stopped playing in 2012, Nigeria has not seen another player with the same set of skills.
In a recent video now popular on social media, Okocha was asked which of today’s players can match his dribbling style.
But he refused to pick stars like Messi, Neymar, Vinicius Junior, Victor Osimhen, Cristiano Ronaldo, Phil Foden, Ademola Lookman, Florian Wirtz, Jadon Sancho, Jamal Musiala, Bernardo Silva, and Kylian Mbappe.
Okocha simply said, “Of course, I was the best dribbler; that was my strength.”
