Manchester United and Tottenham learn to ask for the price of Baris Alper Yilmaz

Manchester United and Tottenham have received more information about Baris Alper Yilmaz and have learned the price demanded by Galatasaray.
According to Heber 3, Manchester United and Tottenham learned the asking price for Baris Alper Yilmaz before the summer. The Premier League giants are interested in the 24-year-old Turkish international, with Galatasaray demanding at least 30 million euros for the forward.

Baris Alper Yilmaz will cost 30 million euros

Baris Alper Yilmaz may be less prolific among strikers out there, but he certainly brings something different to the table. Although his goal numbers are not up there with some of his more prolific peers in the football world, he is among the forwards who can bring others into the game with considerable skill.

The fact that Galatasaray amassed 102 points in a season is by no means a surprise, given the quality of their team. Yilmaz truly played a crucial role in facilitating the game for his teammates, as they lifted the Turkish Championship title together in May. His performances have attracted the interest of many clubs, with Manchester United and Tottenham watching him at the Euro Cup.

The Premier League giants have considered the 24-year-old Turkish international a great option, although he is not the only forward they are monitoring. He played in all three games of Euro 2024 but has yet to open his account, which he hopes to do against Austria in Turkey’s round of 16 clash.

However, Galatasaray is expected to demand 30 million euros from suitors and will only sell Yilmaz for that price. This is justified to some extent, considering his performances and what he brings to the team. Whether Manchester United and Tottenham are willing to do so is still the question, but undoubtedly, it is within reach for these Premier League teams.

Premier League pursues other attacking targets

Manchester United has had internal discussions about Joshua Zirkzee and is seriously considering a transfer for the Bologna striker. INEOS has outlined a specific profile of a forward they intend to sign for the team, including the player being young and with a high ceiling.

Tottenham is after someone who can bring goals and have a greater edge for their future. They could replace Richarlison, who is coming off a second consecutive season with numbers below expectations since his 60 million pound transfer from Everton in 2022.
