Frimpong: “We are extremely disappointed”

Bayer Leverkusen fell in the Europa League final.
Thus, the club’s unbeaten streak is broken. 
– We are extremely disappointed, says Jeremie Frimpong. 

Bayer Leverkusen were until tonight, Wednesday, unbeaten this season, but fell to Atalanta 0-3 in Dublin in the Europa League final.

Hit player Jeremie Frimpong is disappointed afterwards. 

– We are extremely disappointed. We lost a final. Atalanta were the better team and deserved to win. We didn’t create enough chances, which Atalanta did, he says in a comment on Leverkusen’s X account. 

Leverkusen now have one final left to play, against Kaiserslautern on Saturday in the German Cup. As before, the club is Bundesliga champion this season. 

– On Saturday we play a new final, that’s how football is. We definitely want to win.
