Barcelona have confirmed that their talented winger, Lamine Yamal, picked up an injury while on international duty with the Spanish national team.
It was reported that Lamine suffered a hamstring injury in his left leg during Spain’s 1-0 victory over Denmark. He was seen limping off the field in the final minutes, and tests conducted by the Catalan club have yet to determine when he will return to action.
Barcelona released an official statement regarding the situation:
“Medical tests carried out this morning on first-team player Lamine Yamal have confirmed a strain in his left hamstring.”
“His return to training will depend on how quickly he recovers.”
Yamal has been a key player for Barcelona this season, netting four goals and providing five assists in nine La Liga matches so far.
