Arsenal’s big signing, Real Madrid must be worried

As Arsenal prepares for their prestigious clash with Real Madrid, Charles Watts from CaughtOffside has provided positive news regarding Bukayo Saka’s fitness.

The Englishman has been the leader of the Gunners for a long time. This season, he has played 24 matches, notching nine goals and as many as 13 assists.

The 23-year-old last appeared on the pitch on December 21, when he suffered a serious thigh injury against Crystal Palace, keeping him sidelined for several months.

Charles Watts has revealed that Saka is nearing the end of his rehabilitation process, with the right-winger aiming to return to action as early as next Tuesday when Arsenal take on Fulham.

The winger will likely only make a substitute appearance against the Cottagers, with the priority being his full fitness for the crucial showdown with Real Madrid.

Mikel Arteta and Carlo Ancelotti’s sides will battle for a place in the Champions League semi-finals, with the two-legged tie set for April 8 and 16.

Saka’s imminent return significantly boosts Arsenal’s attacking options. However, it is worth noting that Gabriel Jesus and Kai Havertz are set to miss the clash against Los Blancos due to more serious injuries. Meanwhile, for several weeks, Arsenal’s “number nine” role has been filled by Mikel Merino.
